How To Free Up Your PC

Need Some Space...
On Your PC ?

How Disk Cleaning will help out with slow speeds.

There are many ways that you can manually free up and clean out your PC.One that works well is disk cleaning. Not only are you cleaning out junk that doesnt need to be there , you are freeing up valuable space. Its not too hard so I will cut right to the chase.

  1. The first thing you will do is click on the "Start" tab.
  2. Then place the mouse over "All Programs" and let the list pop up.
  3. You will then click on "Accessories"
  4. Click "Tools" and then you will see the screen with "Disk Clean".
  5. Thats when your computer will begin a scan, and inform you of how much space will be freed up.
  6. A list will pop up with the files that can be cleaned.
  7. Some will have check marks and these are the ones that the program has chosen as "OK" to clean. You will have the option to choose more files for cleaning by simply checking the boxes next to each file.(The first time I did it I had to manually check the "Recycle Bin")
  8. After you make your selections its time to let the program do its thing. Just click "OK" and the process will begin. Some systems will let you know when it is finished, some will not. So dont worry if it doesnt pop up a "Finished" message. If you want to be sure just repeat the steps above and check to see if the selected items have a "0" next to there file size.
OK that should do it. Now you will have alot more space and your PC should function better as a result.

If that doesnt help than you might need to try some more optimizing methods or better yet get some Registry cleaning software. FREE Downloads here:
